Neutral density filters (ND filters for short) are filters that attenuate light intensity without changing the energy distribution of the spectrum. Fixed neutral density filters can evenly attenuate light intensity over a wide spectral region, and are coated with a durable metal film. This type of filter can be used in fields such as natural light and lasers. Fixed density filters are divided into absorption and reflection type ND filters and low reflection type ND filters (ND filters). They neutrally attenuate light over a large spectral range, and are particularly suitable for calibration of optical systems. ND filters of special size, density, and wavelength can be customized.
