Gas analysis infrared filter is a special optical element that can selectively transmit infrared light of a specific wavelength, thereby achieving quantitative analysis of different gases. Different gas molecules have unique infrared absorption spectra. By measuring the degree of gas absorption of infrared light of a specific wavelength, the type and concentration of the gas can be determined.

Product Description
Facing the problem of infrared multi-component gas analysis, gas sensors using narrow-band infrared filters and pyroelectric detector array combination technology are not the most common technology on the market. By replacing infrared filters, quantitative analysis of different types of gases in different measurement fields can be achieved.
Jiite has professionally developed and produced infrared filters used for infrared gases, using the world’s advanced coating equipment. The product uses far-infrared evaporation coating technology to coat infrared materials such as silicon and germanium.
The product has the characteristics of accurate wavelength positioning, high transmittance, and high cut-off depth. The wavelength of the infrared filter covers 780nm-14000nm.

Working principle of infrared filter for gas analysis
Infrared absorption spectrum: Different gas molecules have unique infrared absorption spectra, that is, they selectively absorb infrared light within a specific wavelength range.
Filter selection: Select the corresponding filter according to the absorption peak of the gas to be tested, so that the infrared light of this wavelength is transmitted, while the light of other wavelengths is filtered out.
Photoelectric detection: The light passing through the filter is received by the photoelectric detector and converted into an electrical signal. By analyzing the electrical signal, the concentration information of the gas can be obtained.
Application of infrared filters for gas analysis
Environmental monitoring: Detect various pollutant gases in air and water, such as CO2, SO2, NOx, etc.
Industrial process control: Real-time monitoring of gas composition in the production process to ensure product quality.
Medical diagnosis: Used for respiratory gas analysis, anesthetic gas monitoring, etc.
Food safety: Detect harmful gases in food, such as ammonia, formaldehyde, etc.
